The UAB Blazers pulled out the last second victory on the shoulders of Conference USA Freshman of the Week Preston Purifoy who hit a hugely contested skyline 3-pointer with 4.1 seconds left in the game against Southern Miss. The victory secured Mike Davis and UAB at least a share of the regular season Conference USA crown.
