UAB Basketball hosted its first “Hoops on the Haasephalt” event last night and BlazerTV.com was there to get the scoop.  Below is a compilation video that shows some of the highlights of the event with raw videos from the event following.  Check back on the site later for interviews with players, Coach Haase, and Athletic Director Brian Mackin!  Hope you enjoy!

    I would say that I have never had such fun at an event like this but then again, I’ve never been to an event like this.  It was so much fun.  It was great to see such an awesome turnout and the players really outdid themselves with the Gangnam style dance!!! Kudos to the Cheerleaders, Golden Girls and the Women’s Basketball 3-point champ, Kelsie Wayland.  And of course the dunk master Jekore Tyler! I’m so excited for UAB basketball to start!!!
